The
Secretarial Advertising Forum (SAF) is
a partnership of secretarial recruitment
agencies which meets quarterly and works
for the benefit of the whole industry.
In
particular, SAF has influenced the area
of media advertising, driving down costs
and causing the national and provincial
press to re-position and introduce new
opportunities for targeted advertising
within the sector.
SAF
currently places the majority of its advertising
with The Guardian, through its prestigious
secretarial supplement Office Hours. Indeed,
SAF was closely involved in the launch
of Office Hours, working with The Guardian
to promote the supplement at railway station.
Victoria Wall of Victoria Wall Associates
says: Since SAF was established,
it has been both rewarding and impressive
to see how many of the major newspapers
and magazines have introduced dedicated
secretarial recruitment advertising sections.
As
SAF becomes increasingly influential,
large and small agencies are, more than
ever, recognising the benefits of membership
and seeking to join what has become a
premier force in the secretarial recruitment
industry.
